Alfina ("we", "the app") is a small, independently-run web app. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what choices you have.

What Alfina stores on your device

Your daily card draws, streak count, and everything you write in your Manifestation Journal are stored only in your browser's local storage, on your own device. This information is never sent to us or to any third party, and we have no access to it. Clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app will permanently delete it.

The email address you give us

After a 3-day streak, Journal and the Golden Wheel of Dreams offer to unlock fully in exchange for your email address. If you choose to sign up:

Your email address is sent to and stored by EmailOctopus, the email service we use to manage our mailing list. You can read EmailOctopus's own privacy policy at emailoctopus.com/privacy-policy.
We use your email address only to occasionally reach out about Alfina — for example, updates, new features, or news about the beta. We do not sell or share it with unrelated third parties.
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us directly (see contact info below) to remove your address at any time.
Signing up is entirely optional. The daily card draw always stays free and fully usable without any email address.

Push notifications

If you choose to enable daily reminders, we use OneSignal to deliver push notifications to your device. OneSignal only receives a device identifier needed to deliver the notification — not your journal content or email address. See OneSignal's privacy policy at onesignal.com/privacy_policy.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you (your email address), and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, just get in touch — see contact details below.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
